Warwick Academy welcomed back alumnus, Jaelen Steede, as a surprise guest at one of the Food & Nutrition lessons in Secondary. Showing an love for the subject, Jaelen showed his culinary skills with a group of students. His excitement and passion for cooking was portrayed as he showed WA students a variety of recipes.


Food & Nutrition at WA has also welcomed celebrity chef Jamie Oliver who has spoken about the importance of the culinary arts. Students took part in a Food Revolution Day "equipping them and future generations with the skills they need to live healthier lives" (The Royal Gazette, 2017).


With their BTEC opportunities, Warwick Academy students are encouraged to further their education in the culinary arts. WA BTEC graduates of 2016 included Rio Morris, Caleb Lowe, Cydney Simons and Chiffonae Jackson (The Royal Gazette, 2017).
